Lebreau is one of the founding members of NORA, a resistance cell fighting against the inhumane Purge and ruthless rule by the Sanctum. To support their activities, Lebreau runs a popular bar and café on the beach of Bodlam, and her cooking is considered one of the best-kept secrets in the seaside town. Upbeat, no-nonsense, and tomboyish, Lebreau enjoys being treated as just "one of the guys" within NORA, though she often acts with a maturity which is beyond her years.

Construction Notes:
When Sketch and I started playing Final Fantasy XIII we both immediately loved Lebreau; in a lot of ways, she reminded me of Tifa from FF7 but with a beachy twist. I decided to cosplay her before I even got past the first few hours of the game! The top is a store bought purple bikini which I altered to add faux suede accepts to the straps, a zipper, and appliqués cut out of gold PVC. Gold cording replaced the original purple straps and looped around to create the necklace. The small round accent on her zipper was made from Sculpy and colored silver with Rub n' Buff. The shirt I patterned after a work shirt, but added armbands which were interfaced and grommeted and close which ribbon lacing. To save time I used an invisible zipper as a closure instead of buttons.

For the side skirt I used an ugly pleater backing to give the base stiffness, then covered it with purple casa. I found the perfect green crepe for the ruffle in the clearance section of Joanns, and knife pleated each layer onto more pleather material to help the skirt poof out from the base. The ruffles are serged and decorated with more PVC appliqués and gold stud-like buttons were sewn into the purple base for accents. A gold cord loops through the purple to tie the skirt shut. The brown shorts are store bought with silver PVC accents stretched-stitched onto them to create the hatched pattern. I used a stretch lace ribbon and a zigzag stitch to attach the shorts permanently to the leggings, which are made of strips of black leather left over from Sketch's Organization XIII coat and the translucent sections are black mesh. The bracelet is a wooden bangle painted yellow and decorated with rainbow electrical tape. For the gun, I found a Nerf one that was similar in design and spray painted it with matte black paint. The tattoo is hand painted on by Sketch with acrylic paint and actually lasts all day!
